Re: [Vo]:Re:Arthur C. Clarke dies [tomorrow] at 90

Jones sadi,

Clarke moved to Sri Lanka in 1956, lured by his interest in marine diving -
which he said was as close as he could get to the weightless feeling of
space. ³I¹m perfectly operational underwater,² he once said. He had battled
 debilitating post-polio syndrome.

I would like to believe that Sir Clark has at last finally had the
chance to journey beyond the dimensions of one, four, and nine.

Curious factoid, which can be found further down that page.

http://lenr-canr.org/News.htm

Under News from 2005 there is a breakdown of the country of origin for hits
on the site.

The one thing which stands out as an anomaly is the disproportionately large
number of hits from Viet Nam.

More than from the UK, Canada, and others -

Yet - there is not much reported RD coming from there. What gives?

Perhaps CF had been mistaken as a new form of cheap air conditioning technology.

...it's a stretch. ;-)

Oops. Thanks.

I think I will put links directly to each book listing in the Books

Who knows. These things ebb and flow in mysterious ways. Sometimes I
find there was a newspaper article or something that triggered
interest in one country or another, but more often it is a mystery.

More likely Vietnam is the source of a hacking attempt.

Howdy Jones,
The Viet people are a strange and resourceful lot. We have a Viet by birth
engineer with one of our companys.
These people defeated the US, the world's superpower, with one hand tied
behind their back so it is no surprise they are looking at the LENR website.
Strange that many of our old enemies still admire us.. while our allies...
well.. err.. May be having second thoughts.

You should not consider LENR-CANR a U.S. site, really. It is
international. The Vietnamese are looking at Italian and Japanese
research as much as they are looking at U.S. research.

Cold fusion, such as it is, is an international effort. I have not
tallied up the authors by country (which Mike Melich wants me to do),
but I am pretty sure that most of them are not Americans. Over the
past year, 42% of the visits have come from the U.S., and 32% of the
download traffic, but those numbers are inflated because many sites
outside the U.S. are categorized as U.S.

The U.S. is the biggest single source of traffic, but after all, it
has a large population and most of the papers are in English. My
guess is that largest number of visitor per capita come from Italy.

I've been reading reports like this for years; either a military take
over, or an impending economic collapse. Worse, this all makes sense to
me. As my brother the contractor delights in pointing out, you've been
saying this is going to happen for years, and nothings changed. The
bottom line is this, if people how have their hands on the levers of
power, people like Dick Chaney, are traitors, we're screwed. BTW, in
reference to the next false flag attack, there's this book which says
that New York is going to be destroyed next Christmas, I'll provide the
URL.

Ho Chi Min admired our founding fathers. I wonder how much of their
opposition to us was a reaction against the American establishment. It's
too bad that we got cross ways with them.
