At the annual memorial service in Hiroshima, the city mayor came out
strongly against nuclear power. The PM also said that the nation has to move
beyond it. Some children exiled from Fukushima were seated close to the
front, and were interviewed on national TV.

I would say that conventional fission nuclear power has no future in Japan.
I am surprised at the extent of the opposition, and the swift change in
public opinion.
