The nickel plating I did on my Radiola knobs now looks real good.
I had to buff it with Burasso and re-plate a second time. As before I used a salt electrolyte. http://www.angelfire.com/scifi2/zpt/temp/BeforeAfter.jpg I was then intending to plate titanium oxide nano particles but they do not easily connect to a circuit without destroying the nano quality of the particles. These particles are used in sunscreen and are easy to get. I am now trying Brillo. Nickel plated Brillo may make a good catalyst. Nickel plating in vinegar produced a rough black surface. Maybe a vinigar plating on Brillo may even be better. Who knows? I am trying them now. Frank Z
