Supposedly, this is being tested in space now by the US Air Force and
Chinese government.

Unified field theory was presented in 18th century by Boscovich; Newton's laws 
had to be updated as per latest paper for Vigier Conference. However most 
people suffered from Existential crisis from Copernician revolution hence why 
unified field theory was beyond their mentality.
