Hi, In a fresh setup of 20.05 on up-to-date Centos 7 I found two SELinux permissions missing, preventing me to create a host interface. Self-assigned bug VPP-1931 (1) and Gerrit review with fix submitted 28776 (2), but need review. Best regards, Martin Millnert 1)

If you are using an HTTP protocol for Gerrit instead of using your LFID password you will need to request a new token from Gerrit. If you have any issues authenticating, please open a ticket at support.linuxfoundation.org. Thanks, Vanessa On 9/10/20 3:29 PM, Vanessa Valderrama wrote: > >

Hi, can you please check out/try out this patch to see if it suits your needs? https://gerrit.fd.io/r/c/vpp/+/28739 Currently there is no easy way to write a unit test for it, would be nice to have it confirmed that it works. Thanks, Klement > On 8 Sep 2020, at 19:34, Satya Murthy wrote:

Hi Nick, NAT doesn’t do any periodic cleanups, relying on a LRU list to reap stale sessions. This is by design, as it avoids hickups in traffic rate. Observed behaviour with session moving to WAIT-CLOSED and then CLOSED state is based on RFC, there is no assumption whether FIN/ACK was actually

Hi Nick, The behavior you are seeing is correct. Based on specificatoin TCP sessions / tcp ports should not get reused before transitory timeout passes. WAIT-CLOSED means that these sessions are closed but still waiting for timeout to expire before address and port can be reused. The are not

[vpp-dev] Q about VPP NAT

2020-09-10 Thread Nick Zavaritsky
Dear VPP hackers, I need your advice concerning configuring and possibly extremely ending the NAT in VPP. We are currently using nat44 in endpoint-dependent mode. We are witnessing TCP sessions piling up even though clients close connections gracefully. These lingering sessions are
