[Vserver] Problem to build util-vserver on ia64.
Hello I checked the build status of util-vserver on Debian today and found out that it do not successfully compile on ia64 arch. The cause is this: ... then mv -f "lib_internal/.deps/lib_internal_libinternal_diet_a-matchvserverinfo-init.Tpo" "lib_internal/.deps/lib_internal_libinternal_diet_a-matchvserverinfo-init.Po"; else rm -f "lib_internal/.deps/lib_internal_libinternal_diet_a-matchvserverinfo-init.Tpo"; exit 1; fi if diet -Os gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I. -I ./lib -I ./ensc_wrappers -D_GNU_SOURCE -D_REENTRANT -DNDEBUG -DNDEBUG -Wall -g -O2 -std=c99 -Wall -pedantic -W -MT lib_internal/lib_internal_libinternal_diet_a-unify-copy.o -MD -MP -MF "lib_internal/.deps/lib_internal_libinternal_diet_a-unify-copy.Tpo" -c -o lib_internal/lib_internal_libinternal_diet_a-unify-copy.o `test -f 'lib_internal/unify-copy.c' || echo './'`lib_internal/unify-copy.c; \ then mv -f "lib_internal/.deps/lib_internal_libinternal_diet_a-unify-copy.Tpo" "lib_internal/.deps/lib_internal_libinternal_diet_a-unify-copy.Po"; else rm -f "lib_internal/.deps/lib_internal_libinternal_diet_a-unify-copy.Tpo"; exit 1; fi lib_internal/unify-copy.c: In function `copyMMap': lib_internal/unify-copy.c:142: error: `MADV_SEQUENTIAL' undeclared (first use in this function) lib_internal/unify-copy.c:142: error: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once lib_internal/unify-copy.c:142: error: for each function it appears in.) make[3]: *** [lib_internal/lib_internal_libinternal_diet_a-unify-copy.o] Error 1 make[3]: Leaving directory `/build/buildd/util-vserver-0.30.206' make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/build/buildd/util-vserver-0.30.206' make[1]: *** [all] Error 2 make[1]: Leaving directory `/build/buildd/util-vserver-0.30.206' make: *** [build-stamp] Error 2 You can see the full build log at: http://buildd.debian.org/fetch.php?&pkg=util-vserver&ver=0.30.206-3&arch=ia64&stamp=1113943529&file=log&as=raw Regards, // Ola -- - Ola Lundqvist --- / [EMAIL PROTECTED] Annebergsslingan 37 \ | [EMAIL PROTECTED] 654 65 KARLSTAD | | +46 (0)54-10 14 30 +46 (0)70-332 1551 | | http://www.opal.dhs.org UIN/icq: 4912500 | \ gpg/f.p.: 7090 A92B 18FE 7994 0C36 4FE4 18A1 B1CF 0FE5 3DD9 / --- ___ Vserver mailing list Vserver@list.linux-vserver.org http://list.linux-vserver.org/mailman/listinfo/vserver

I'll do a fix run later, but I have to stop all the vservers. Any pointer about how to interpret that output ? dmesg shows that we have lost a member of the raid hosting the partition in question. That may explain why we have errors on the disk. I'll have this replaced, and have the errors fixed. I'll let you know if this solves the problem.
