[Vserver] vserver bug on kernel 2.6.18.3
Hello, I compiled kernel 2.6.18.3 with patch-2.6.18.3-vs2.1.1.1.diff on debian-3.1-sarge-backports Compil ok, starting ok but when i launch vserver vweb1 start, i got the following errors which seems to be the same as Andreas Baetz. I've read Herbert should fix it in the next release . It was just to show the bug is probably in the patch-2.6.18.3-vs2.1.1.1.diff , too. Re: [Vserver] Vserver on top of cluster
On 4/18/06, Herbert Poetzl [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: I'd say it _is_ possible, but it would require some modificationsso that the 'migration' is context aware, shouldn't be too hardto add that though, but currently there is no real demand forthat (at least I think so) best,HerbertHerbert,Thanks for your response. Is it simply a matter of making the vserver patch apply to the (already-patched) OpenSSI kernel, or am I missing the bigger picture? Are other people handling scalability and high-availability differently? It seems that being able to put vservers on top an openSSI (or some other) cluster would be great way to handle this. [Vserver] sample fedora guest images?
Hi :-) I run a test debian host server and I want to try fedora as host client. Are there any premade images on the net, which can be downloaded? = I just want to play around. br, Patrick ___ Vserver mailing list Vserver@list.linux-vserver.org http://list.linux-vserver.org/mailman/listinfo/vserver
