Attached is a patch I cooked up to build against the new openssl-1.1
which caused the build on Fedora-26 to fail earlier.
I'm still working on figuring out how to actually *test* the whole
thing (I'm not running the F26 alpha anywhere yet), so I just blindly
followed some of the example
