I am trying to install the community edition at home. I have a static ip
from my dsl provider. On one of the interfaces I have configured and
internal ip address and have setup the dhcp server which is working fine and
my other machines are able to get the ip from dhcp. On another

Set up the internal address of the Vyatta router as the default
gateway provided by DHCP
Set up NAT so the private internal addresses are translated to your
static IP from your provider

Hi.
Once you set at least 1 rule an implicit deny all 'else' rule takes effect.
Does this implicit deny all rule apply to just the one interface in which a
rule (or rule set) was applied, or does it apply to all interfaces?
Example:
eth0 - firewall rule wan2lan out
eth1 - n/a
Deny
