SCP is what most of us use and, if you're working from a Windows machine,
WinSCP is a great tool.
If you really want FTP, Vyatta includes the BusyBox commands ftpget and
ftpput. We also include wget which has many more options. Use the -h
option with all three at the root prompt for

I realise there's no ftp service within vyatta by default.. other than a
certain sftp-server
if i want to bring files into the machine... how should I do it? Just
install vsftpd?
Because my concern would be the overwriting of users accounts
