Achim's idea is really nice in case of "start, exit" :)
But it is not so nice in case of existing more powerful things in w3af -
scripts. We *already* have batch mode feature

It can be used in most cases with simple auth form (username/password).

Well, ok...Let using "-P profile_name" to run selected profile will be
