The only way I know of is to burn the music to a music cd (not data) and the
re-import it. This removes the protection.
Long winded but it does work

The PMU (power management unit) has probably lost its memory. Try
reseting the PMU and/or NVRAM. I forget the procedure. Should be in

I tried this but it doesn't seem to work in order. Perhaps the songs
won't play in order because the album is a compilation of different
artists and my music is arranged by the order of artists. I've got
