Hi, The PMU (power management unit) has probably lost its memory. Try reseting the PMU and/or NVRAM. I forget the procedure. Should be in Apple's support docs. James.

Hi. Using my G5 iMac with built in iSight, and 10.4.7 and Software Update I installed the new iTunes 7. However, it is constantly crashing - can be after 20 minutes of playing or within a minute, playing from the Library or Shuffle. At this stage I have not been able to pinpoint when/how.

Howdy, I've been imported a number of audio CDs into itunes, such as Goji information, The Message, etc, and then moving them onto my ipod shuffle. sometimes the import is rather poor in that the playback skips all over the place is this in import issue - dirty disk, wrogn process or what?

I have a Umax Astra 1220S (SCSI) A4 flatbed scanner surplus to requirements. Fully operational. Umax only list a driver for OS9 but it worked fine with VistaScan on my G4 with a SCSI card. Free to anyone interested. Currently in Albany but a pending family visit means a courier available
