For information, Apple Support helped me on this one. The Preference file com.apple.ical.plist had been corrupted. When it was pulled out on to the desktop a new one was created, which solved the problem. Might be a useful tip for other minor problems, Dick Anderson On 17/01/2009, at

Wanted: A little foot for my PowerBook

Dear Wamuggers I need a little rubber foot for my Powerbook G4 1.67 15. It's one of 4 and worn off. I was generously given a bag of iBook feet but they are different. I'm happy to swap this bag of 100 for 1, or perhaps 4, PowerBook feet. Can anyone help please? Reg -- The WA Macintosh

I have disregarded the Feet Reg. What I now do is use the little rubber feet you can get in a pack from Woolies. THis give more airflow under the machine. And if you lose one there are always more from the pack you can replace it with. Because they are rubbery they also stop my macbook
