I've made it as far as being able to access the Windows server via
Terminal because I get the Windows prompt, and entering dir brings up
a list. All good.

That doesn't look right. 127.0.0.1 is the ethernet loopback IP which points
to your local default ethernet nic. The standard port for RDP is 3389.
Perhaps ask your Windows IT guy if they are are configuring a tunnel in
their SSH client that uses port 33890? Then go back to my last post

Mine came through to an address that I have not used since 2004 or
2005. The address is not currently associated with any mailing lists
or online stores, so Tony Mike must have used a spam list that is

It can't just be an old list as mine came to an address on a domain I didn't
register till 2007 - but it IS my WAMUG list address.
