Hi Yanski,
I've found that one 2-episode program (Moby Dick) continually fails before
completing download - always fails @ around 70%-80% of the 455MB file.
I've already increased the timeout setting (to 2000!) but that doesn't help

Is your iPad Wi-Fi 3G, or only Wi-Fi?
Apparently there is NO Set Automatically” Date Time setting on the Wi-Fi

On my Wi-Fi 3G Settings General Date Time I have - 'Set

If I turn “Set Automatically” to OFF,
I can then check that I have - Time Zone

Hi Pat
It is part of iTunes, so you can't 'remove all traces of it'.
However, you can choose not to use, which is what done. If you don't sign into
Ping the only time you should get a 'reminder' about it is when you update
iTunes and the new version starts up.

Hi Pat,
In iTunes 10:
First, you can turn it off through the Parental Controls in iTunes Preferences:
1. Open iTunes Preferences
2. Select Parental tab
3. Under Disable section click the checkbox for Ping
4. Click OK
Second, you may turn it off through your iTunes store account:
1. Open
You can remove Ping from the iTunes sidebar (iTunes Preferences General,
and untick Ping) which may help.
