I have to buy back some student laptops

i came up with $380 and $440 for macbook core 2 duo, 13inch, 2.1 and 2.4ghz, 2
gb ram, 220 hd
they are around 18 months to 2 yrs old.
Is that a bit cheap or fair prices?

I have an upcoming project at home involving enclosing one side of our
carport, and I would like to use software to produce working drawings rather
than pencil, ruler and paper.
Google's Sketch Up seems to be hard to use (or maybe it's me) and I would like
to know what AutoCad-like software
Peter, not sure if you saw this on the Procad site. You can go and
learn how to use Sketch Up.

Hi Peter,
Use SketchUp. Looks hard until you make use of the ability to manually enter
measurements. Once you learn how to do that (it's covered in the documentation)
it becomes very, very easy to use and very accurate. The only thing it lacks is
the ability to output working drawings, that,
I support this. A few tutorials will get you on task, then it is easy to use.

I zap the PRAM it seems ok for a day or so then reverts.
Do I need a new PRAM battery? What else would resolve it?
Running 10.4.11 on both machines.
