Hi Brian,
Thanks for getting back to the list. Glad you have your FW 800 port working
again.
Is the FW400 / USB hub self powered from its own separate power supply?
What are the specs of your iMac, how old etc?
You have a few devices coming from the Hub, plus your Two FW 800 Drives

Hello all
I have a recently installed an EyeTV DTT Deluxe (the micro sized one!) and
experience very short irregular breaks in received sound and vision. Perhaps
two per minute, with problem on all channels. These interruptions are not
noticeable on my standard television set. I changed
For years I have been using Huey Pro for monitor calibration and found it
highly reliable and useful with a regular prompt for a recalibration. With my
recently acquired 21.5inch iMac I have become aware that the monitor
calibration from Huey is way off. It seems to be functioning normally
Hi Ronni,
My iMac isn't very old ( 24-inch Early 2008, 3.06 GHz Intel Core Duo).
I'd like to sell it before the AppleCare runs out on it but I prefer
it to the new iMacs.
Although I guess I could get used to a new one.
It runs Tiger, the MacMini has Leopard and my MacAir has Tiger.
The USB

Alan,
I often have the same happening with an eyeTV stick and a Mac mini that are
both at least 3 years old. However, it only occurs when I am watching live, not
when I watch the recorded version of the same show.
Next time it starts happening, hit the spacebar to 'stop' the program being
Sev,
The following from the Datacolor website may be of some help: 'Please also keep
in mind that older sensors are not able to deliver correct calibration results

Just heard on the radio the very sad news of the passing away of Steve Jobs
after his long battle with cancer.
Jobs will long be remembered for his unique contribution to the computer and
electronics industries.

Technology users can be thankful that he chose to return to Apple to lead its
current run of innovation and impeccable design. His courage and perseverance
against the odds is certainly an inspiration.

Many thanks
When you look around the computer world and think about everything Steve has
initiated it's really awe-inspiring.
I was particularly impressed when I saw the address he gave to college students
some years ago where he said that, after he dropped out of 'official' college
himself, he attended

A very sad day. Steve Jobs will be remembered as a truly great man for many

He was particularly inspirational and gave me the motivation I needed when I
viewed and listened to his 'Stanford University’s 114th Commencement on June
