Hello, In Skype preferences there is a tab marked Audio /Video (has slider adjustment icon/picture), is your usual Skype camera selected?, on my MacBook Pro I select Built-in iSight. If the correct camera is selected you should see yourself. I did have to log into Skype before these preferences

Hi Mac, within Skype itself you must also click on the little picture of a video camera that is on the bottom of the Skype window when you have it open. Windows uses have the same button, so it's nothing to do with having a Mac, as you already know. So if you have preferences set correctly as
