I have a Macbook Pro and there is a Card slot on the left side. It has never
been used. My question is what could the best way be to use it. I am really
thinking about plugging in a semi permanent sd card as a digital drive but the
cards sit proud of the port So what else is there.

Hi Tom,
That slot is known as an ExpressCard/34 slot. Here is a MacWorld article with
some uses for it

To be honest I have never used mine, though it is comforting to know it is

Hi Tom,
You don't give any details of which model MacBook Pro.
If its a 17 Thunderbolt MBP 2011 it is the ExpressCard 34 slot
A read of the manual will tell you what each slot and port does. It came with
the computer.

Hi Tom,
With Ronni's help a few years ago, to change some settings, I extended the
range throughout my house by bridging the airport express and a base station
wirelessly. This might be the basis for your house using your Netgear setup.

Apple listens! The last item - order of TV episodes on Apple TV - has been an

Good Morning List,
Hopefully someone may have an answer. Just recently (in the last week
actually) when clicking on web URL's the spinning sun goes on in Safari for
quite some time. up to three or more minutes at times, before the site
activates. I have also tried Firefox.
Any ideas?
Further to my earlier post. On information from my server (Primus) I have
cleared the data stored in Safari Preferences/Security.
All works fine now
