I am carrying on from my earlier post, Slow URL Loading, with many

Have you got a spare modem/router that you can try instead of the one you are
currently using? Also it will be worth logging into your modem and checking if
its internal firewall is switched on, if its on turn it off and retest your
browser.

Accessing your modem is usually done via your browser, depending on the modem
the address is something like 10.1.1.1 or 192.168.0.1.
Sometimes the address will be on the modem sometimes you need to google the
modem make. Once you have the address right you will need to login to the modem
A much easier way to find your router/modem ip address is to go into system
prefs - network - and you should see an ip address next to router. Put that
ip into your browser and this should take you to your modem config.
