Hi Juliet.
My iPad 2 gets its music from my iMac whenever I sync with iTunes. You can
choose the whole library or just those songs ticked. This sync is automatic.
You can also sync manually.
The music has to be in iTunes, though.
I also have ticked the box to covert those songs above 128kbs to
Ronni,
I am receiving mail. The problem seems to be that there is no outgoing
server selected. When I follow the instructions to select an outgoing
server from the list there is no list.
Going out now and I will try later.
I am thinking I am a looney for having three different mail clients

Hi Blitto
This is an observation, not a fix! Perhaps the "backup software" has an
impact. I had problems about a year ago. just manually copying individual

Hi Blitto,
Are the external drives Not recognised on the Windows or The Macbook Airs?
I have all my external drives that I use on Windows & Macs formatted MS-DOS
(FAT-32), never had a problem.
If they are using these external drives for "Time Machine backups", they need

Merv,
Thanks. Eudora is up and running well, however the problem with Apple

Hi Kev
Launch Eudora. In the main menu click on Eurdora and run down to
Preference. Top of the list Getting Started. Click on that and a box
occurs with User Name, Mail Server, Real Name, SMTP Server and Email
Address.
Fill these in as per Ronni's recent email and you are up and running.

As you point out there are lots of changes happening in the background

Hi,
I've now (finally) got an iPad 4G and I'm contemplating mobile broadband
plans. I have to stick with Telstra for the country coverage.
I am probably going to go pre-paid and saw that people recommended the 12GB

Not that it affects things, but it could be that they had mail servers that
handled just "username" rather then "usern...@iinet.net.au" and after a
software update on their end (i.e. their servers) some (or all) of their mail
servers now no longer recognise that.
