I think what Ronni suggested was that I go to the iTunes folder / library,
locate the relevant folder and drop in directly ? I have numerous folders in
iTunes, each for the relevant subject or website podcast. It would take me
ages to do it that way I feel

possible your mouse is passing over a potential drop point (some other folder
on the way to the intended folder) that is making OSX jam up. If you do the
