Hi Today for some unknown reason all the emails in a folder on Mac Mail
and its two sub folders have gone missing. I can’t find them anywhere.

I have a reasonably recent back up and I have found what appear to be
the missing folder and emails under User>Library>Mail.

But perhaps it is the way it is backed up by Super Duper, that even
though the actual emails appear to be the ones I am searching for,
their titles and the way they are stored bear no resemblance to the way
they looked in Mac Mail. (I thought Super Duper was supposed to be
making an exact bootable copy, it doesn’t look like that to me.)

For example the main Folder in Mac Mail is LEJOG and the two sub
folders are LEJOG Accommodation and LEJOG Travel Bookings. the various
emails where stored in these folders under whatever title they arrived
   or were sent in.

On the back up I get to Library>Mail then V5 then a file called
538F0432-41E5-400C-B9AB-6E026017FC64 and in that I find a small mailbox
   icon followed by LEJOG.mbox

   That then opens up into:

   -a folder 71165733-A883-43D5-A187-E56D73DF5964

   -Info.plist

   -LEJOG Accomodation.mbox

   -LEJOG Travel Bookings.mbox

The two m.box both have a folder with a long alpha numeric title
similar to the above and then the all have a Data Folder, various
single digit numeric folders and most of these contain a folder called
   Messages.

The messages are indeed the missing emails but are in a format I have
never seen before e.g. an icon of a letter and 42380.emix.

Okay my question is, how do I get these emails from the LEJOG.mbox back
into their respective main and sub folder in Mail on my iMac?

   Any ideas appreciated.

   Take care.
   Matt
