Hi muggers
Thanks to those of you who gave suggestions to solve my problems with
Appleworks crashing.
Here is whatt I did:
1. Downloaded Appleworks 6.2 updater - I had already got the update last
year, but by re-updating it showed that my copy had several problems, as
it now works much better.
2. However it still did not allow me to edit the 11 page document, so as
suggested I saved the file as a Text File, and then opened the text file
in the newly downloaded Appleworks, and off I went.
3. I also increased the memory allocation, which seems to assist with
ficking between several open Appleworks documents.
I hope this can assist somebody else!!
