Finally got rid of Google accounts - all gone.
What's the alternative to Google? BING looks promising. Nice touch when you
first go there: a grapic of the Indian Ocean with snippets of history about
Rottnest.

Thanks for pointing that out. I had a cut-and-past excerpt from the news
aggregator site in the original post. My guess is that for some reason it
doesn't show up in your email client -- might have to do with text colour or
font. It does show up, incidentally, in your reply to me.

it probably does not support embedded links. So here is the link spelled out:

Yes, the mailing list doesn't handle embedded links very well. I think it's a
security feature :)
