Hello, I've got a business partner that has a suite of Macs but is wedded to Microsoft Office. She had a major crash in Entourage last year that caused her heaps of grief, and I am encouraging her to move to Mail, Address Book and iCal for her own peace of mind and the easy ability for us to share calendars via MobileMe
She is concerned that she MUST be able to respond to meeting requests sent to her from all manner of applications by her customers, and for iCal to be able to view and respond to them so they work every time. The reading I have done indicates this remains a problem and the limited testing we have done confirms we don't get replies if either of us Accept a meeting request. (iCal to Entourage and vice versa). Does anyone know if this issue has been resolved so meeting requests works seamlessly cross platform? - clunky workarounds won't cut it in this work environment. She has purchased and is about to install Office 2011, and has not yet got a MobileMe account. She is feeling that once she moves to Outlook instead of Entourage as part of the new Office, her well founded anxieties over Entourage will resolve, so she has little reason to move to Mail, Address Book and iCal.
