Problem with Mac Game

Hi folks, About 2 weeks ago I purchased the game Alien vs Predator from a local Mac Centre. This is the first time I have bought a game and what a disappointment after about 8 years using Macs. It is apparently designed for OSX. I installed it and then as indicated I downloaded the 10.1.2
