Has always been trouble free for me too . I'm sure it has a lot more capability
in it than I tap into as well.

Hello Stephen,
NO, I haven’t tried or tested MS Edge.
We get a Mac version of MS Edge only because there’s a Mac version of Google’s
Chromium system.
My previous reply to Peter Curtis explains why I prefer Safari.

Hi Peter,
I use Safari exclusively and rate the latest version of Safari at number 1 - as
the best web browser to use for Mac.

Hi Stephen,
An update - you'll love this. Eventually spoke to Woolworths. They recommend
Google Chrome as the best browser to use as it is integrated with their
shopping.

Hi Stephen,
As someone from wamug (Neil?) said a few years ago: it’s too late - Google
already knows everything about you. I think I was trying to uninstall Google
Chrome after using it for a few days.
Google is efficient for my web searches. I used DuckDuckGo for some time but

Hi again Alan.
I suggest you dump Google ASAP.
That and Facebook will invade your world.
My family have use DuckDuckGo for a couple of years.
On our Macs and our iPhones.
They do no tracking and do not record your data.

Hi Stephen,
A reasonable deduction I think. Windows for Woolies, Chrome for Coles and
Safari for Store Shoppers?

Alan

Sounds to me like Woolies have not tested their latest web catalogue.
Web writers should always make sure their work is compatible with all common
browsers before releasing.
I learnt this when I did my IT course at TAFE some years ago.

A problem. I look at the Coles and Woolworths grocery catalogues most weeks. I
usually use a 2012 iMac for this. This week I cannot open the Woolies
catalogue page using the default Safari browser. I get a spinning "wait” icon
with message “Loading Page”. OS is High Sierra 10.13.6 with
