Two a/c on iPad - Two inboxes?

I have set up my email account and my wife's email account on Mail on my iPad. Initially I had my account set up through Mail. I tried adding my wife's account through Mail but found that it overwrote my account. Using Settings I was able to put in my account but we now share the same Inbox. Is

Thanks Daniel I do have the guide but 'am still coming to grips with the meaning of the various buttons and their symbols. For those of you who have already had the experience of touch screens on iPod or iPhone I guess the symbols are obvious - thank you for explaining in plain English. Merv
