Netscape 6.1 - Trashing emails and other quirky stuff??!!]

Greetings all Recently installed Netscape 6.1 and have noticed that as well as messages being sent ok a copy is being trashed to my HD trash can. Since I'm not technically fluent could I have advice please I know enough to suspect some sort of clash - ? Used to run Navigator 4.7 with no
