Firefox browser gives the following message when attempting to download the
FLVUncontainer extension: "Firefox prevented this site
(iviewdownloaders.wikia.com) from asking you to install software on your
computer".

Is this a standard warning from Firefox about third-party extensions, or is
there a real problem (technical or security) with the site or with the
software? FLVUncontainer is promoted via the developers website and is not
directly available from the Firefox extension list.

I last used FLVUncontainer over a year ago but Firefox upgrades have variously
blocked downloads, or installation if downloaded. I now have Firefox 12 and
iView 1.3.7 installed.

FLVUncontainer was brilliant in converting the ABC iView MP4 files to a
compatible iMac and iPad format in just a few seconds. Conversion of iView
via Handbrake takes around 30 minutes, hence my interest.
