Rod I use Memory-Map on my iPad 1 connected to an external GPS receiver made by Bad Elf. It's powered in series with the iPad. Later iPads have built in GPS I believe. The iPad sits on the jesus bar in front of of the passenger held in place with big bulldog clips. I downloaded AusTopo 250k

Yes. This area needs lots of research. I found that printed HEMA maps weren't good enough. WikiCamps is a cool app for finding camping sites, but it uses Apple maps, and the detail is woeful. I did some research in December, and came across
