Hi, I have a variation on the problem posed by Alan, it still involves trying
to access two iTunes libraries, though in this instance on different Computers
an iMac and an MBP.
I have managed to configure both independently to show on the Plasma TV, but I
can't for the life of me manage to

Hi Ronni
Yes, both libraries are under one account. I would prefer not to combine the
libraries as a completely new set of menu selections for photos, movies,
podcasts etc is very attractive.
I had forgotten about live user switching: I just knew that user 2
applications would close when
Hi Ronni, thanks for the reply, I found the answer in the first link to the

Hi All
I have just returned from another long overseas trip during which I loaded
photos/short videos with a Camera Connection from my camera to my iPad (as
back-up).
I have done this before and they appeared as Events under the appropriate date

Hi Marlene
Normally photos are handled through iPhoto (rather then iTunes) from the
iPad and iPhones. Do they show up there in iPhoto (under Devices left hand
side listing iPad name)?
Kind regards

Just bought a new MacBook Pro. Was using 10.5.8, now Snow leopard.
Tried cranking up my HUAWEI USB modem with no success. It needed a firmware
upgrade which Westnet did for me while I waited. Just as well since I needed
to catch a plane and needed the portable function whilst on the move.
Hi Marlene,
As Daniel has mentioned you import iPad photos into iPhoto.
1. Connect the iPad to your computer.
iPhoto should automatically launch into its import window with your device's
images and videos listed.
Note: If iPhoto does not automatically open, you may wish to enable the
Hi Ronni
A final (and happy) conclusion - - -.
Fast User Switching seems to provide all the facilities I want. On first
quick test both user libraries display on Apple TV (under Computers) and I can
select files from each library without problems. And I can continue using the

Excellent Allan!
Pleased the “Fast User Switching” idea was successful.
It’s good to get a favourable result today ;-)
Too much work today, far too many cups of coffee … and NO food.
I must stop for a bit and find some food to eat.
Cheers,

Hi Daniel and Ronni
Thanks for your responses.
When I come back from a trip, I load all my photos on to my iMac directly from
my camera memory card into iPhoto 11.
I don't use my iPad for that.
Devices shows up in the iPhoto side pane, but of course, the photos on my
iPad don't show up when
Hi Marlene
Can't think of the trick off the top of my head at present (mind on another

Hi Marlene,
Just click on the image in Events then click the Trash can up in the right hand
side, then click Delete Photo.

Using iPhoto '09, I imported photos from my Canon Powershot A580, selected
delete photos, and using edit enhance, enhanced many of the photos
that I had imported.
Card is an SD.
Aperture v 3.1.1 is also installed on my computer. OS 10.6.8.
Is there any way that I can look at the photos again

Hi Michael,as long as you have only used iPhoto and not exported / deleted photos you can always go to 'revert to original' under the 'photos' menu.
