You're welcome Chris. Yes there are many sources of DRM free eBooks. For
instance there is a repository of eBooks that goes by the name of Project
Gutenberg. It is a collection of works that have fallen out of copyright and

Hi Tom,
Not really an answer to your question (which others have already answered)
but, really, taking the idea further. I have seen some very effective
interpretive displays where images have been made by drilling holes of
various sizes through sheet metal - the effect basically works the same
I have a friend who has upgraded to 10.6.8 and finds that PhotoShop CS2 and
LightRoom2 no longer work. I suspect this is a Rosetta or 64bit/32 bit issue -
Adobe no longer support these versions. He is looking to backwards reinstall,
a messy operation in my mind! I am uncertain of the
Hi Severin,
Though I have since upgraded, I initially had an installation of Snow Leopard
on a Mac mini solely for running Photoshop CS2. Yes older versions of Photoshop
and Lightroom do rely on Rosetta. Your friend could dedicate a previous Mac to
running Snow Leopard and Photoshop, or run

Please disregard all that I said below. According to this link the 2012-001
security update caused problems for some users with Rosetta. They recommend

Thanks for posting, Javier. You made me realise my mistake with the version

Hi Rob,
I think you meant to send to WAMUG Mailing list. I only realised when I replied
and my reply went to your email.
Just a very quick reply. Are you using the latest version and updates of
Parallels 7?
Parallels 6 was causing Kernel Panics in Lion.
With Parallels; you didn't even have to
No, I explicitly sent it only to you, because this is a pretty obscure
problem, and I didn't want to clutter up everyone's mailboxes. :-)
Once I had a solution, I was planning on posting it...
