Yes, it was a 2006 model so that battery has done well. The battery drain has
been exacerbated by a larger hard drive about a year ago so maybe a new battery
is on the cards despite no warning yet.
Thanks again Ronni

Now that the cat's out of the bag (I've had a pre-release version for several
weeks), I can assure you that Filemaker 12 is the most significant new release
of Filemaker Pro since the change from FMP 6 to FMP 7. It also brings a change
in the underlying file format, to the point that FMP12 is

Thanks for thinking of me Kane, however I am off to Bali this Sunday for
a break. I will see if others may like the eMac.
Kane,
I am off to Bali for a break this Sunday, but if nobody is interested in
your eMac, I could collect it after I return in 8 days.

Hi Brett,
If you are syncing “Mail, Contacts Calendars in iCloud … DON’T sync these
also in iTunes.
To STOP your iPad from syncing in iTunes when you connect it:
1. While connecting the iPad to the computer on a Mac.
Hold down the Option and Command (⌥ and ⌘ Apple) keys together.
Thanks Ronni, that worked a treat and I was able to connect the iPad without it
updating the iPad with the current desktop iCal.
May I ask how to update the desktop from the iPad rather than vica versa?
It all seems designed to do it one way only... in the Advanced section of Info
in the iTunes
Hi Adam

Hi Brett,
How have you setup iCloud on your Mac and on all your Devices to sync using
iCloud?
On your Mac in System Preferences iCloud you should have selected the same
items as in iCloud settings on your iPad.
To keep Contacts, Calendars, Bookmarks, Notes in Sync with your Mac iOS
devices
So if you have everything setup correctly in iCloud and the correct Data is
showing in your iCloud account (in the ‘Cloud’) it should all sync correctly.
Unlikely, I think thats why the problems occurred
Every time I try to do anything with iCloud I end up getting duplicate
appointments that
