Re: Proposed changes to the WAMUG constitution

2016-02-25 Thread Neil Houghton
I am also unable to attend the meeting and would strongly support the the
proposed Constitution changes.

Unfortunately I don¹t think us non-attendees can currently appoint proxies
and vote through them.

Catch 22:
* We can only vote by proxy if the constitution is changed
* We can only change the constitution at the AGM
* We need a quorum to hold the AGM

So, my very best wishes in getting a quorum for the AGM and my (non-votable)
support for the proposed changes to the constitution.

Hopefully, you get it all through and we will have proxy voting and more
practical quorum criteria for next year¹s AGM.

Cheers

Please accept my apologies as I will be unable to attend this year’s AGM.

I agree with the proposed Constitution changes and if possible, would like
either Peter Hinchliffe or Maureen Smith to act as my proxy.

Given the sensitive nature of Dropbox, I would imagine, somewhere in the
IOS settings (possibly Dropbox settings) you allow access on an app by app
 basis.

Perhaps you actually have to give the Voice memo app specific access to
 Dropbox on your phone.
