Re: Problem with Magic Mouse

2017-01-05 Thread Ronda Brown
Hi David,

Rob is probably right.
You can check your device's charge level by choosing the device's name from the
Bluetooth icon in the menu bar at the top of the screen.

For the fastest battery charging performance, be sure your device is switched
on when connecting the Lightning to USB cable.

Cheers,
Ronni

It sounds like you've got a flat battery in the magic mouse.

I disconnected it, and plugged in the mouse from my older iMac. This
worked normally, and I'm writing this message with it.

Going to System Preferences/Mouse with the old mouse was also normal.
When I disconnected the wired mouse and switched on the new wireless
mouse, the message "wait for a Bluetooth mouse to be discovered" came
up' followed by "Found Magic Mouse 2" and then, almost immediately,
"No mouse found". Turning the wireless mouse off and on again at first
repeated this sequence, but afterwards showed no recognition.

Is there anything further I can do to check the wireless mouse, or
should I seek help from Apple?

Problem with Magic Mouse

2017-01-05 Thread David Noel
With my new iMac (Sierra 10.12.2), when I opened up this morning, the
behaviour of the (wireless) Magic Mouse was strange. Moving the mouse
would only move the on-screen arrow jerkily, and only a short
distance.

Re: Membership Renewal

2017-01-05 Thread Laura Webb
Thanks Ronni, yes that is the exact address I used, as shown on the WAMUG web
page. My Bank might be able to throw some light on the problem and will check
with them in due course. In the meantime I am posting a cheque to WAMUG today.

I do agree with Graham’s comment about there never being any acknowledgment of
membership renewal. In this day and age surely it would be easy to set up some
automatic response indicating membership renewal has been received.

Kind regards
Laura

Re: Membership Renewal

I have paid $30 membership fee per year for 3 years and have never had any
acknowledgment of receipt. Maybe this email will prompt some response or at
least a receipt for the current year’s membership.

Membership Renewal

2017-01-05 Thread Laura Webb
Good morning and New Year greetings to all.

On 4 January I completed a bank transfer to renew my membership. The $30 has
now been returned to my account and a $5 return fee has been charged.

In all the years I have been a member of WAMUG this has not happened before. As
far as I am aware everything was done as usual. I will not try that method
again and instead will send a cheque to renew my membership.

Regards
