2019-07-24 Thread Ronni Brown
Hi John,

Not knowing what you have tried to correct the problem. Have you tried all the
below tests?
1. Turn WiFi off and back on via Settings > WiFi.
2. Restart the iPad. Press and hold until you see the ‘Slide to Power Off’
prompt and slide to do so.

3. Try a hard reboot of the iPad. To do so hold down the Sleep/Wake button and
the Home button simultaneously for around 12 seconds – ignore the ‘Slide to
Power Off’ prompt and keep holding down both buttons until you see the screen
go dark and then see the Apple logo appear as the iPad powers up again.

4. Restart your wireless router. This is usually done by just pulling its power
adapter out of the router for around 15 seconds and plugging it back in.

5. Try a reset of network settings on the iPad – via Settings > General > Reset
> Reset Network Settings.

Kind Regards,
Ronni

Re: lPad Internet Connection

Hi John, yes it will help to know what attempts you have tried so far
but until then, immediate steps I can think of are below and this
assumes the device is a WiFi only iPad and in the same WiFi network as
the other devices you indicate do connect with the internet.

* Go to Settings>WiFi and Forget the network you think you're
connected to.
* Re-establish connection to the WiFi network - enter password for
selected wifi network
* Close all open background app - double click Home button and swipe
up on all apps
* Reset the iPad - hold Home and Power buttons firmly and
simultaneously until the Apple symbol appears - allow it to reboot
* Open Safari and see if Google.com opens?

Let us know status after trying this.
Regards
Pete

 Good afternoon John,
Can you let the group know what is your set-up and what steps you have
taken so far? I am no expert but I am trying to determine at what
stage you are stuck and see if I have any suggestions.
Many thanks & best regards,
Philippe C.
