I'm having problems syncing 1Password with my other devices.
It just does not seem to work in spite of me apparently following all the
instructions.
I see that there has been recent post about 1Password so there is a lot of
knowledge out there.

Open the 1Password app and then tap:
Settings Sync Dropbox Account Reset

On reading you post again, if you have never been able to sync your devices
with Dropbox you perhaps don’t have syncing setup properly.
