Yes, exactly what I have to do. I would mention, I also have an iMac running
on Mojave and do not have this problem. Very odd.
Probably nothing to do with it, but the problematic Mac uses POP email, whereas
the iMac uses iMAP.

I have been having two problems with my, otherwise, trusty iMac and am hoping

Thank you Jewels, in fact only last night I got the same problem and had to
send my attachments in different emails! In desperation I have just installed
Outlook and will give it a try, reluctantly, and if it behaves then so be it!
Many thanks again,

Hi Phillippe
Can’t help you, but thought I would mention that my Mac O/S Catalina - mail
often quits on me if for instance I am forwarding an email with a number of
attachments. I have to make fresh emails and only attach say two attachments
in order to prevent mail from quitting.

near as I can tell it seems to occur while downloading messages, size
or type doesn't seem to matter. I have repaired permissions and run

Doh! That's right. I had the same problem with Safari 4 Beta, not
10.5.6, ie. Mail quitting. Again, web search came up with a fix -
something to do with Growl.

Hi folks,
Has anyone else had this problem ?
Since installing OSX 10.1.2 MAIL keeps quitting unexpectedly whilst in
use. It has become very frustrating and happens every couple of minutes
on average ... sometimes 2 or 3 times in a minute.
In frustration I downloaded the Eudora for OSX Beta
