Yes Onno,

As noted on my previous post, Explorer 5.0 on Ti Powerbook running OS 9.1
also gave a blank page.

Cheers

Website Test

2005-08-26 Thread Onno Benschop
Can someone please visit the following web-site with their Mac and tell
me if it works for them?

   http://www.wsc.org.au/

I've got a report from a user in France with problems and I'm trying to
figure out if it's fingers or a real problem.

Appreciated,

Hi Onno,

Seems to work fine for me - the Flash intro is OK and it links to the
right page when selected.

iMac G5, OS X 10.4.2, Safari 2.0 (412.2.2)

Cheers,

Thanks all, I've now got 11 reports that it works.

Unless you find it doesn't work for you, you can ease off on the Send
button :)

Hmm, makes me wonder if I should enrol you lot for usability testing,
I'll have a think about that :)

Thanks,

 Thanks,
It may be that he is running old browser?

For me, with a 400MHz Ti Powerbook running OS 9.1, I found:

1) IE 5.0 (pauses for shrieks of horror!) - nothing loads into the window -
I can view the source just fine but neither the flash movie or the skip
flash link. This configuration may not represent your target audience - but
I would generally expect a default page that gives minimum browser
requirements in this case.

2) Netscape 7.0 - I've just installed this since the updated CBA online
banking stopped working on IE on the Mac. Seems to work OK -I only explored
a couple of links but they seemed to work OK. I was surprised at the use of
? rather than / as the separator in the breadcrumbs trail ie:
Home ? 2005 ? Volunteers
so I'm not sure if that is an error or a funky design decision ;p

Hope that helps

OK, I fired up IE 5.2.3 (first time since installing 10.4.2 on an
iMac G5) and the site won't open...dialogue box says I don't have the
right plug-in.

Could be the issue...
