Re: iMessage retrieval

2017-05-04 Thread Ronni Brown
Of course Walter if the sender of the Message that you have deleted, has not
deleted it from his Phone you can get him to ‘copy’ his message and send it to
you again. ;)

Ronni

Re: iMessage retrieval

2017-05-03 Thread Ronni Brown
Hi Walter,

In iCloud or iTunes backups - You can’t see what is in the backups, you require
third party software to retrieve individual items from an iPhone or iPad.

As I mentioned in my answer to your question, the only way is to Restore your
iPhone from a iCloud or iTunes Backup (backup that was done before the iMessage
was deleted), without using a third party software program.

Once you have found an old backup you will need to completely Restore your
iPhone to factory settings before setting up your iPhone using the older
backup.
Remember you will lose any data you have added since the backup you are using
to recover from so make sure you save copies of your photos and videos, and any
other messages you don’t want to lose!

Learn how to restore your device from a backup in iCloud or iTunes.

A google search will give you many third party iPhone data recovery software.

Thanks Ronni,

I don’t think iMessages were backed up (can’t see them when I connect to iMac)

Hi Walter,

The only way is to restore from your icloud or iTunes backup assuming that
iMessage conversation was backed up.

Sent from Ronni's iPad4
