Greetings All
I am running iPhoto 9, 8.0.4 (409) and until today, it is set up to
download photos from my Nikon D70.Now when I connect the camera
using a cord to the USB slot on my MacBook Pro, iPhoto acknowledges
that a camera has been connected and opens up but that is as far as
it will go, it will not show the Nikon on the left hand panel or
show the photos. I have now used three different cables in case
that was the problem but it still won't work. Any suggestions?

Hi Wendy,
Have you changed anything or updated since it was working correctly?
Are you importing RAW images from the Nikon D70?
Have you tried, deleting the com.apple.iPhoto.plist file from the HD /
Users/ Your Name / library / preferences folder.
Quit iPhoto if it is running, then delete the plist file, then try
connecting the Nikon.
NB: You'll need to reset your User options afterwards.

Collie to a mountain of emails, and my next door neighbour wanting me
to fix his wireless network and do a Resume Job Application for him.
I've fixed his Network ... now to get on to the Resume Job
