   Hi All

   I am still 'on board'.

   I have pretty basic ‘computing’ knowledge so don’t feel I can
   contribute much at all in that area.

   But I was a Commerce teacher for many years so I am all over document
   design/layout etc.

   I do read all your posts.

   I appreciate the history of a group such as WAMUG and would agree it
   would be a pity for it to die.

Thanks for the note Apple Users. Yes there’ll always be some issues toe comment 
upon but it’s unlikely to be the OS. I think Photos is the least intuitive 
software, but it’s still excellent with what one can do with an image in that 
software.

   Probably right Mike.

   Being Mac users we don’t have many problems crop up.
   My son scored a senior management position a few months ago.
   His biggest issue so far has been trying to work with Windows based
   systems.
   He is a Mac user and has found working on the “dark side” frustrating
   and nothing seems logical.
   Hence the comment in my signature.

I’m still here. Can’t recall seeing questions for a while. Maybe people are 
using other means to find out things. 

In my own case, most of my hassles come from specific software, such as 
InDesign or Final Cut Pro, so I tend to go to the specific sites that deal with 
those issues.

Recently I was a speaker at the Family History WA Technology Group celebration 
of their 40th anniversary - I chaired the group for 10 years. All of the 
technical queries were about PCs and Windows. They got sick of me saying…I 
don’t have that problem…I’ve got a Mac.

It’s nice to know there’s a group of Mac users out there, even if they don’t 
say much.
