Hi I am having similar kidn of issue, for me overlay page opens
the javascript which pops up the overlay is
a onclick=window.print() value=PrintPrint/a
so my browser object not able to access the print overlay dialog
any help appreciated

it with one of the developer tools or not? Can you share the relevant html
