If you are new to Watir, I would highly recommend reading some
documentation, and not using recorder until you understand Watir api.

I think you have to go to Watir official website, it introduces the basic
knowledge about how to locate.
If you use IE, please download IEdeveloper toolbar plugin;
If you use FF, please use firebug.
