[Wayland-bugs] [Bug 103201] Wrong sensitivity for Elantech touchpad

2017-10-10 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=103201

Bug ID: 103201
   Summary: Wrong sensitivity for Elantech touchpad
   Product: Wayland
   Version: unspecified
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: NEW
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: libinput
  Assignee: wayland-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: carlos.o...@gmail.com

The sensitivity for my touchpad on the current version of libinput under
Archlinux is a bit incorrect. Specifically, tapping with one finger requires
too much pressure.

I have updated the pressure sensitivity by myself and now it feels as before:

$ cat /etc/udev/hwdb.d/99-touchpad-pressure.hwdb
libinput:name:*ETPS/2 Elantech
Touchpad:dmi:*bvnAmericanMegatrendsInc.:*pnUX305LA*
 LIBINPUT_ATTR_PRESSURE_RANGE=10:8

Below is some information that might be useful in the correction of this bug:

$ udevadm info /sys/class/input/event11
