https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=102128 --- Comment #6 from Daniel Stone--- (In reply to Dilip Shirke from comment #5) > [17:35:29.583] Loading module > '/home/dilip/install/lib/libweston-3/drm-backend.so' > [17:35:29.584] initializing drm backend > [17:35:29.584] fatal: drm backend should be run using weston-launch binary > or as root This is trying to use the DRM backend, not the nested-X11 backend. If you want to run the X11 backend, you need to build support for it. My guess is that the configure checks failed because the required dependencies were not present. There is a guide to compiling Weston on the main website the which may help you: https://wayland.freedesktop.org/building.html -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ wayland-bugs mailing list wayland-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/wayland-bugs

[Wayland-bugs] [Bug 102128] Segmentation Fault with Weston
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=102128 --- Comment #1 from Daniel Stone--- Are you able to get a backtrace please? You can get this from the core which was dumped. How did you trigger this crash? Was it immediately on startup? Also note that 1.9.0 is quite old - we have just released 3.0, which is five releases after 1.9. Perhaps you could try a newer version as well. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ wayland-bugs mailing list wayland-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/wayland-bugs
