I haven't seen it in quite a while, but I'm pretty sure he's one of the TV
crewmen, and that he can be seen at the extreme edge of the screen at the end
of act 2. He says that's a rap or something like that.

Here's my question. The closing credits list Rance Howard as one of the
Rance is the camera operator when Danny is in the jail cell. He is
only seen briefly.
