As usual another great Mayberry Christmas card from Allan! Thanks Merry
Christmas to you yours. Out here in the west ( Oregon), we can buy stamps at
the check out stands at local grocery stores. Those include Safeway stores
Albertsons, which are chain stores, independent stores as well. I
I just read an interesting tid-bit and wanted to share with all of you. Of
course this might not be news to anyone but me. grin
I read on a web site that Madge Blake was selected to play Aunt Bee on TAGS.

Don't wish me Merry X-Mas, or Happy Holiday, the old song goes.so I

be a teacher, she actually started acting in the late 20s. There MUST be
professional pictures of her somewhere. Does anyone know of any?
From a very cold and snowy Wisconsin Christmas Day I wish each and every one
of you a very Merry Christmas. May the Christmas season and New Year bring
you love, hope, peace, friendship, health, happiness, and joy. May the
spirit of Mayberry continue to live within each and every one of you
